Smoke Jumper is a sweet, earthy, smoky blend. We start with big full-bodied beans from our favorite among the thousands of volcanic islands that make up the Indonesian archipelago. We combine this robust coffee from the land of Komodo dragons and Sumatran tigers with small rare wet-processed peaberry beans from Africa in a smoky roast. The Tanzanian peaberry holds its own and adds a distinct spark of inspiration to your Southeast Asian adventure.
Like all of our blends, Smoke Jumper is not a cookie-cutter recipe. We roll with the seasonal nature and nuances of new crop offerings to create a central concept and flavor profile. Throughout the year, our roasters are busy turning dials, pulling levers, and cupping their results until they achieve taste characteristics that best reflect the ideals of each blend.
