We discovered North Rim in 1996 through an exhausting series of test roasts and cupping sessions. All that hard work and more than a little luck produced our signature blend. The roast is intensely aromatic with a punchy spicy flavor and a crisp and clean finish. We’ve been roasting North Rim every week ever since.

Like all of our blends, North Rim is not a cookie-cutter recipe. We roll with the seasonal nature and nuances of new crop offerings to create a central concept and flavor profile. Throughout the year, our roasters are busy turning dials, pulling levers, and cupping their results until they achieve taste characteristics that best reflect the ideals of each blend.
